Summary of this post: ep 01 = new series, =/= Shugo Chara! continuity

Well it kinda (really) sucks. Though at least after watching it I understand why they made all the random add-ins and stuff. Even the regular part of the show (Dokki Doki) wasn’t exactly the Shugo Chara! we’re used to. As anyone will tell you, it only lasted about ten minutes. But I noticed right away that otherwise it wasn’t what I expected from Satelight.

There are weird spots of animation, but overall it’s a very well animated show. Especially for a shoujo anime. Especially for a shoujo anime aimed at younger girls. But that’s really no longer the case.

Picture completely unrelated! (ShinKuro isn’t discussed at all!) But come one, what else is really new? I figure I could just go for it and be completely random this week, because nothing is connected this week. Not even much of it is on-topic with the entire rest of the blog.

The biggest section doesn’t touch on anime at all after all! Harry Potter releases always means I have to do a fandom switch. The one series has affected my childhood into my teenage years far more than anime could. I have no specific fond memories of running around Main Street at 10 PM one night and seeing kids and adults in anime cosplay. No, they were all wearing witch hats and cloaks. Much cooler. (<- Lie. Even I wasn’t that dorky, though it would have been fun to be~)

I didn’t do much this week because I’ve had a two week cold from Hell…and it’s still not gone! Why couldn’t this stupid cold strike me in Winter when I wasn’t doing anything? I have all sorts of stuff I haven’t been able to do because of this cold, but I won’t bore anyone with all of that. But still…agh! Colds suck. It still isn’t completely gone today.

Oh yeah, then I also was gone this weekend on a trip for Easter…so pretty slow all around for me.

Second week of writing random crap begins! It’s even easier with a whole new batch of anime to poke at. I already love my new feature~ Still need new images of girls though…dammit. I need another girl to worship (one that gets proper promotion so I can have images).

Speaking of girls though, this week included April 1 which is my beloved Sakura-chan’s birthday. That explains the title for this week because Sakura needs her proper tribute! (Even if it’s horribly tiny)
