A title that completely explains my purpose for buying stuff. I wanted three (especially two, and really especially one of them) of the posters that came with the May issue of Megami. So I bought it. Though I had to buy two extra things to get the free shipping so I’ll get to those first.
Wee~ It’s been so long since I’ve gotten stuff in the mail that I’m just way too excited. 
Arina Tanemura! Arina-sensei! Happy birthday~!
Yup, I’m pretty sure Arina Tanemura is my top manga-ka. I’ve never not loved a single multi-chapter series, let alone disliked anything. I can’t say the same for any other manga-ka I’ve specifically followed (CLAMP and Peach-Pit coming to mind). Of course, I love and respect all the manga-ka that make wonderful series…Arina-sensei is just my favorite. And we must fill the air with fangirl love for her birthday~
And thank goodness that I put her birthday in my google calendar almost a year ago. I put it in right after I started Simplicity and saw that I wouldn’t be able to do anything for Arina-sensei’s birthday because…it already happened.
Girl number 2, Otomiya Haine from Shinshi Doumei Cross. Just one more to go now, right?
Haine is the always-confused but still unusually awesome heroine of ShinKuro. She always does her best and she’s just…awesome. She’s awesome, okay? Let’s move on.
This is the final part of my two-parter overview of ShinKuro. This will likely be my last fangirling for the series unless there’s an anime adaptation.
“I will show you a ‘happy ending.’ Even if I were to disappear.” Haine kept her promise at the very end and gave everyone a happy ending.
So because of that happy ending even I have to stop fangirling at some point (unless an anime comes up of course).

With those first words in “Bring it on, Koutei!” the very first chapter, Shinshi Doumei Cross began very happily and “spirited” just like Haine.
Alright back to the shoujo (and specifically, Arina Tanemura) girls now for week number four and girl number seven.
Kamiya Komaki from Shinshi Doumei Cross, best known for being Haine’s adorable little sister with a sister complex. The non-incest kind mind you.
Komaki is the president of the Junior High section of the Imperial Academy. She adores her older sister, Haine and will do anything for her “Nee-sama”s happiness. She’s also been in love with Kusame, Haine’s step-brother since the two of them started working on the student council together and she oh so cleverly navigates her way into his heart despite the fact he’s “in love” with Haine. She has an “ojou-sama” attitude, but she’s actually incredibly naive.
