You may have also noticed the “May ‘09 Edition”. That’s because it’s just cruel to make one list when in another month or so there’s going to be more characters I want to hug. Unlike a favorite list, this list is ever-changing.

So I’m going to change it. Every other month on the first Wednesday. Unless you know, I just don’t feel like it or I have something else going on.

A return to rankings means that we start back at the basics. My rankings started with simple things like my favorite female characters, the standard OP & ED ranked lists (which totally need to be updated btw).

So, another rather standard list (in fact, the next one I was planning to do) is an Anime Wishlist. A list of series (most of them manga) I would like to see adapted into anime. Some of them are way out there and have little chances of happening. Some I think are very likely and I’m just impatient for them to show up already!

Arina Tanemura! Arina-sensei! Happy birthday~!

Yup, I’m pretty sure Arina Tanemura is my top manga-ka. I’ve never not loved a single multi-chapter series, let alone disliked anything. I can’t say the same for any other manga-ka I’ve specifically followed (CLAMP and Peach-Pit coming to mind). Of course, I love and respect all the manga-ka that make wonderful series…Arina-sensei is just my favorite. And we must fill the air with fangirl love for her birthday~

And thank goodness that I put her birthday in my google calendar almost a year ago. I put it in right after I started Simplicity and saw that I wouldn’t be able to do anything for Arina-sensei’s birthday because…it already happened.

Yeah, “Hare Hare Yukai” picture, because it’s not like it’s even a spoiler for an anime endings list.

Ah…I ran out of normal ideas and went back to finish off my anime themes by doing my top ten anime endings. Now we’re done.

…Until I inevitably go ahead and do my top ten insert songs. You know it’ll happen.

So, in case you didn’t know, SaiMoe is going on right now. And in case anyone doesn’t know what SaiMoe is…it’s basically just a voting competition to find out what girl from the past year is the most moe.

Now that the preliminaries are over I decided to make my next top ten list be the top ten girls I want to win SaiMoe. Not the ones I necessarily expect to, just the ones I want to.

New Top Ten list. This week I go into my love of music a little with ten of my favorite openings.

Specifically, these are openings that I like both the music and animation for. A good opening needs to have nice animation and nice music. One or the other doesn’t cut it.
