The reason why everyone watches this show.

Yup, this series is as episodic as ever. I think last season we only had three sets of two-part connected episodes. Just meaning episodes where things from the previous episode mattered at all. Usually leaving off with a cliffhanger. For an actual two-parter it was probably just the finale.

But of course I’m fine with that because otherwise the perfect Nogizaka Haruka episodic fluffy formula doesn’t work.

They made the title even longer. If this was a “First Impressions” post there wouldn’t have even been enough room.

But anyway! Haruka is back! And I’m glad to have her and the rest of the gang back. Making their return with all of the familiar faces and jokes (and ohmygod otaku romance) along with one new face and one familiar character just getting an expanded role. Also new fanservice in the fact that this episode has enough to make up for everything the last series may have lacked. You just don’t see any of it.

Why hello there Nogizaka Haruka. It’s been a while. In fact we haven’t talked much since the very episode I will now be talking about.

So, for my…seventh(?) day of anime we have episode 07 of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu~

Or as I like to call it, the episode so good that it made me stop watching.

It’s late. I know. But there was no way I was going to miss out on the ultimate Haruk and Yuuto episode…plus the introduction of Haruka’s vaguely Yakuza-ish parents? No way! Not in a million years.

But since my post is coming at the tail end of the love for episode 7, please forgive me if it sounds like I’m just saying things you’ve already heard. You can only read, “Gosh. Cute~!” so many times, I understand.

Love-Com anime at Comiket equals…I don’t know. It’s really just the usual Haruka cuteness, but having a Haruka and Yuuto outing at Comiket adds the same sort of fun that episode two did in Akihabara. No random maid cosplays this time, but it was fun.

I have less to say with this episode though…but I’ll chalk that up to me being short on time since I had as much fun with this episode as I’ve had with others.

I got so busy and this episode post was so delayed that I ended up watching the episode with fansubs. Kind of gets rid of the whole purpose of me downloading the raw, but I still took raw screencaps.

After all, I couldn’t afford to not talk about this episode. This is where love-coms get down to serious business. Shiina, the third corner of our love triangle has arrived. I’ll take my fluff with some jealousy on the side now.

And of course, since this is Haruka, let’s have that be level-headed jealousy not insane yandere bitch jealousy.
