Ah~ That’s nice. Power of rabu (hugging rabu) solves all.
Really, though it’s not exactly like the manga where they’re on the ground from the SHEER FORCE of Amu’s hug of purify LOVE~ Floating with lots of wind and pretty music is pretty damn nice too.
So the manga was more intense and the anime was more…floaty~ I’m cool with that. Hugging is fucking hugging either way.
Also, it doesn’t hurt that floating makes the hugging more drawn out. Ehehe~ From the moment Amu started putting her arms around Ikuto (20:22) to the moment they separated and did that split screen with the saying each others’ name bit *giggles like mad in a corner* (21:00) lasted over half a minute!
I’m just saying…I don’t hug any friends or family for half a minute. *cough**cough*
Also…I’d like to say that I’ve had a cold all week (along with a sinus infection) and this hug cured me. That’s right. It’s magic. So…take that!
*rolls around the floor and all other sorts of insanity that could be expected*

Not as awesome as huggins~ though. This is just gravy.
BECAUSE THE HUG WAS SO AWESOME IT MADE THEM DO ALL NEW TRANSFORMATIONS!!!

Also the fact that this is the one hundredth episode and 100 is such a cool number (or something) I’m sure that means something too. Yeah…something…
Now I’ll look forward to dozens of AMVs so this fangirling can last all month. YEAH!!!!!

Now a real episodic post will be forthcoming the very instant I’m off of my hiatus. But I’ll start writing it the very first chance I get. Maybe I’ll publish it early just to make things easy. Because believe me, a lot of my stupid clever fangirly~ remarks popped into my head this episode. It’ll be the only episode out of what aired during my hiatus to get its own post…and heck, I’ll include it in my round-up post too. WHICH MEANS I GET TO TALK ABOUT IT THREE TIMES!!!11 (But yeah, I still have at least a few days left to my hiatus)

Okay. I’m done. Not sure if it was enough. I was trying to restrain myself…somewhat. But this is definitely the most epic episode of the series. Seriously, the crying, the d’awwing…the names, it’s all so great. And lol, almost a minute? I’m sure it’s on purpose to imply something. X3 Floating + hugging = epic episode. The anime and the manga make the hug great in their own way. I. Absolutely. Loved. It. Still. And…the animation rocks out loud.
And the transformations were great too!!~ Seven Seas Treasure looks so awesome in anime form as well.
Anyways, overall, I’m glad that it was adapted as epic-ly as possible. The manga chapter was just love~and the anime did an awesome job to make it just as special.

I didn’t think it was possible to go from crying to sheer OMGing happiness in the span of about two minutes, but there you go. This episode did that and more! It wasn’t exactly like the manga but it had its own amazing charm. I, personally, am just so thrilled we got the hug that I would’ve taken anything. But the anime actually did a pretty good job. I also love how, while they were hugging, Dia said “This is your answer, Amu.” Feck yeah! I knew Dia was my fav for a reason.

I’m going to save all those pictures, make a collage, print it out, and tape it to my ceiling above my bed so that I can giggle myself to sleep at night.

You would not believe it if you saw me during this scene. xD I have asthma, so naturally, when I began hyperventilating, I gave myself an asthma attack and thus missed what Amu said since I had to grab my inhaler and try to calm myself down while bawling from tears of happiness and shaking on top of it. Talk about best. moment. ever.

It was yesterday morning when I got out of my bed because I heard the SC! OP coming from my bro’s room… I was soooooooo sleepy till that very moment, but this one definately woke me up! Finally, Satelight repaid us for the mess they’ve caused and we got the best episode of the season! YEAH FOR AMUTO!

Haha, this was pretty much the scene in the manga where I thought "OKAY. TOTALLY SHIPPING AMUTO NOW." My favorite moments between them are when Amu gets the best of Ikuto rather that the other way around.
But it still doesn't trigger any spaztastic fangirling from me, so I feel a little out of place. xD Oh boo. :'C
Anyway, that was a darn good scene. <3 <3 It didn't seem as.. you know.. passionate(maybe?) as it did in the manga, but thats okay. It seems like satelight is trying to make amuto more cutesy and innocent, if you know what I mean. The music was pretty.
And I just loved Ikuto expression during the hug when he just looks at Amu and is at a total loss of words. Oh gosh, cute~~ <3
