Yay! Well…I certainly disappeared, didn’t I? Two Weekly Extra posts in a row. Tsk, tsk. I could makes excuses about how busy I was, but that would be a lie. Truthfully, I just went totally braindead. Time flew right by me and…I can’t even remember what I’ve done of half of the days that I’ve been gone from the blogosphere. I’m now thinking that maybe I should have one of these breaks every season though. Maybe not almost two weeks (extreme) but just one.

So this week just has a small-ish blurb on an anime I marathoned, a bigger than usual Wishlist, random thoughts (as usual), and new RAGE! Safe to say that the blog-related section has a bit to say this week too.

Anime

Hahaha. I am watching almost nothing at the moment. Summer does this to all of us. But I did sit down and burn through one of my Watchlist series in a marathon. Kaze no Stigma and all I can say is that I know why it seems to be more often recommended by girls. At least the girls I pay any attention on the blogosphere who obviously have some similar tastes as me in “ohoho~ ahaha~ hehe~” (and other laugh/giggles) inducing events and characters/pairings.

Also…Yui Makino. With some mild tsun. Very mild, but still enough to make me happy. Ah…makes me so happy that Makino-san graduated from college and I’ll get to hear her in more roles. Actually when I remembered she had some role in this anime, it’s what prompted me to watch it. I’m getting psyched up for NYAF. (Makino-san~)

Though I have to admit, I fast-forwarded through a lot of the action after a certain point because it just got boring. Plus, I’m not a fan onf Gonzo action series where things start out okay, but from like…episode 8 (or earlier) on things become horribly obvious or look entirely different. I already sat through all of Black Cat, so I did my time thanks (and I liked that action better anyway, guns~ But Gonzo animation matched with Eve’s transformations made me sad).

Anyway, I’d recommend watching it to anyone who doesn’t know if they want to. At least with fast-forwarding, and only if your shipping tastes are similar to mine. For the shipping side of things I get a pairing with a totally selfish jerk (in a good way) who teases~ and a tsundere so…it’s really impossible to make me much happier than that. Can’t recommend it for action at all…because I hate Gonzo.

Now…to get to the rest of those series with Makino-san that were dropped or forgotten for one reason or another. (Yeah, I’m in more of a marathoning mode lately, so this season’s anime will just have to suffer~)

Fuyu’s Wishlist

Wonder Festival is something I’ll have to pay more attention to in the future ahead of time. It’s such a treat to see scores of adorable and lovable figures announced all at once that spark that, “ZOMG WANT IT!” from me. There’s far more that don’t, but we’ve got a decent five here that I really, really want to own. And luckily so much is announced ahead of time that the purchases may just space out nicely so I can get everything.

First off, Ein nendoroid. I don’t think Ein makes a great nendo, but I love nendoroids. I would just rather have an actual figure of her…on a discount (Ein is great, but only as a season favorite, like Riannon). There is one of her game design, but since I haven’t played the game, she doesn’t really seem like “Ein” to me.

So I’m still on the fence about this cute little nendoroid.  Hopefully I won’t have to get off the fence until she’s released. I shouldn’t buy a nendoroid just because…I love nendoroids. I should buy one because it’s suitably, “FUCKING ADORABLE!” You know?

Now, you know who would be a fitting character to make a nendoroid of? Ranka. Let’s make that happen. That be fucking adorable.

I don’t think I’ve seen White Album figures yet…but at least now I have. And in Rina’s signature outfit too~ <3 I dropped the series even though I was blogging it because it just became too intolerable. Everyone but Rina sucked. Even the loli-girl *forgets the name* became annoying when her personality was always the same loli-ish personality. You know?

*ahem* Anyway~ I loved Rina. Getting a Rina figure…well, it depends on the price and the timing, but I’d like one. It looks like the two girls come separately, but can make a pair. If they automatically come together, I’m dropping the idea altogether. I’d also like to see pictures of Rina by herself. Maybe she doesn’t look as good (Unpossible! Rina always looks good!). So another “wait and see” here. Still great loking though. Since I do loce that image. Yuki would be cute if she never opened her stupid mouth.

Haruka~ I’ve been wanting a figure of the adorable ojou-sama secretive otaku for a while, but the only options I believe have come in cosplay or bathing suit. I felt like I wanted Haruka in her uniform. And here she is. In what’s probably her signature pose.I just wish she was painted so I could decide if she looks good.

CM’s is making her and their results are varied…mostly resting on “meh” and straight-out “ugh” figures (see for yourself). Especially on their faces, which is the most important thing to get right.

And apparently the two magical fighting loli’s are going to be Nendoroids too. Yay~! I think series that should qualify for nendoroids are ones that are generally upbeat, have characters that are adorable and upbeat, or loli’s. Loli’s are adorable thus can be adorable chibi-fied too. It’s not much of a stretch to make some of them chibi-fied anyway. Just look at the younger versions of all of the Shugo Chara! characters.

But yeah. Totally want both of them. Just the image makes me want them. Gah…so cute~!

And of course, there’s also the option of a badass loli. A new Nanoha figure from Alter…who already made one of loli-Nanoha (and Fate). But this one is oh-so-different because it’s for the movie. God, I love the movie. Bringing back the cute versions of the girls. The good ones. (Having them be 19 was just weird. At least make them stay at 15 or 16!!!)

It is awesome, but a Nanoha nendoroid might be enough for me with my current level of love for the series. (Still haven’t jumped on those boxsets…)

Plus I wish Alter had made an announcement about a Rin figure instead~ I’ve been wanting one made by them since they announced Kud. Of course, I don’t really know how many poses from official art have been left undone. Heh.

But now…we must move to the main attraction…

KOBATO!!!!11

Fucking want it! >_< Kobato would actually be my first CLAMP figure and I want her. I want her so badly. It’s freakin’ Kobato! Though I was so happily amazed that I didn’t let myself fully believe it until I saw Ioryogi. God I flipped out when I was scrolling down the page and saw Kobato.

And I love what they chose for the figure too~ A kimono~ And Ioryogi in a cage. And it looks like her base is supposed to be clouds, which is just awesome. BECAUSE KOBATO IS AN ANGEL!!! At least she sings like one~ <3

Gah! I WANT IT SO BADLY! I don’t even have to wait for more pictures. My Rin is from Kotobukiya so I trust them enough. If a better Kobato figure comes out…well I’ll just have to get that too. And the next one…and the next one…

 So excited! It’s coming out in December and I’m already counting down the days~ Screw Christmas, it’s all about Kobato in a Kimono for me.

Yes, this one is a guaranteed buy for me. Even more so than the Nanoha nendoroids. Kobato~! <3 <3 <3

Utau is moe~

Ah, coming back after a blogging burnout feels so good. Now I just need to clean up my room and all will be right with the world. For the past couple of weeks anytime I’ve been on the computer all I’ve done is eat and watch stuff. It’s like me being out so often requires me to compact all of my former computer geekiness into a shorter stretch of time, so I just have two moods: anti-social (at home) and friendly (at work).

I also need to get some sort of table so that my mom HUEG sewing machine isn’t blocking my only source of light too. Which reminds me, hopefully you’ll see some sort of progress on a cosplay in the next post. I’ll try to get ahead with blogging on Sat & Sun so I can spend my only say off next week (Thurs) sewing. I’m working on the Nagisa dress first since the only pattern I found for Amu’s has to be printed. From the computer. And that’s going to be a pain in the ass. I’d rather pay than get something like that for free. It’s a shame since it’s pretty much perfect too.

Now for posts, I’m going to do my best to get my Utau~ SC – 93 post out, even if it’s late, SC! 94 too because it was actually…pretty good. First filler that handled the plot fairly well (so joint-post for that). And Sora no Manimani will receive a catch-up blurb post…at some point. Hopefully this weekend I can get it done. I’m going to have to limit myself more on episodic posts, because these days I’m just too braindead to even attempt to be clever. I’m thinking of returning to limiting myself to 20-25 screencaps every week like I used to. It would certainly make things easier in the amount of time things take.

The reason why I’m in a rush to get things done is because my family is headed to New York for three days this week in order to do some research for NYAF. Find the best place to stay and the best travel route. I’m trying my best to get my dad to get me texting already so I can still be connected through twitter, but we’ll see if he actually does it. I was supposed to get texting back when I first got my job back in June.

But since my trip to New York coincides with my Birthday I should have a semi-decent merchandise post when I get back. Especially if I get the chance to visit the stores I want to~ The chances are good thanks to the GPS I got as a Graduation present. No more letting my parents get me lost!

Random Thoughts

Oh the Rabid Fandoms~ - Damn it resurrected fast for InuYasha. Just a few pages into the announcement and the old (incredibly stupid) Kagome vs. Kikyou debate started up again. What was the funniest part was how Kikyou fans acted like the victims when one of them started it up.

Most ridiculous shit ever really. Kagome fans turn her into an epic Sue and Kikyou into an evil bitch. Kikyou fans talk about how awesome she is while talking about how Kagome doesn’t have any depth. Because being incredibly awesome and without flaws gives you lots of depth. Kikyou’s just cooler and Kagome’s just cuter. They both have the exact same Sue-level. They’re just different types. Both are capable girls who can stand up for themselves, just in different ways due to growing up in completely different time periods. Get over it.

Aside from that, I find myself amused by how all the fanboys are talking about the “preteen fangirls” ruining the series. Haven’t most of the preteen fangirls grown up? Literally. I was a preteen fangirl and now I’m 18 going on 19. Grown up.

Ah…I’m staying in my own cozy little blog like I do with all other humongous series (see: Shugo Chara!). Nostalgia is good…I just wish it hadn’t been promptly struck down by crazy shipping. I’m off to read old roleplaying archives instead. Revive my peaceful shipper.

Girl Vs. Girl Debates – I’m reminded. I want to make a two girl love triangle. I want that series to somehow be insanely popular. All of this just so I can go. “You guys are fucking stupid. These girls are both awesome. Just in different ways. So stfu.” Then pull an awesome move and make no one end up with anyone else.

And this is why I love Macross Frontier so~

Fall Season – So it seems to be made up of just extreme opinions. :Fuck yeah” and “Shit.” I am, of course, very much on the “Fuck yeah!” side of things. I’ve already have a decent-sized list of things I’m looking forward to. Most of which people are already familiar with by me going on and on about them. But the Fall season already seems to be a little smaller than past fall seasons, but I guess that’s owed to economy shit? No big deal for me. As long as I have Kobato, nothing else matters.

And I seriously think that anyone who writes Kobato off before it even comes out should burn. Dramatic fangirl, it’s true. But it just appalls me that there’s fans out there who don’t know to look into a CLAMP work rather than just treating it like everything else in the season. It’s fucking CLAMP. From CardCaptor Sakura to X…they’ve got variety. Even their light-hearted series (like CCS especially) can have just plain old good story-telling. Even if it does rely on “MAGIC solves EVERYTHING” a bit.

Really, it’s reminding me something I considered doing this season for Summer. I’m going to have to go ahead and make a Kobato-specific post after my first preview. Kobato~

RAWR RAGE

A new section that will be hidden because not everyone is always in the mood to either FIERCELY DISAGREE with me. Or equally FIERCELY AGREE. And either way just get all bothered. Maybe you’re at work and you can’t get all worked up.

Or…you can just have no opinion on the whole thing and just go, “Oh silly little Fuyu-chan~” But you won’t know unless you read it. So I’m being a responsible girl and keeping my rage hidden.

I could have just made this a rant post, but eh. I didn’t want to use a relevant image because it would make me barf. This is easier. less likely to get flooded by fangirls too.

Warning: Overly-Sensitive Vampire Knight fans (mainly those who think a certain creepy pedorbear is awesomesauce) should back off. The forth-coming rant will just tell you I don’t give a rat’s ass what you think. Oh and there’s also swearing.

Hahaha. Wow. Felt good. And now it’s more hidden than ever. I wonder if rant posts are eventually going to go extinct. Then again, it seems like everything is getting sucked up into my Weekly Extra lately. I guess it’s the downside of being too busy. Hopefully it’ll get better in Fall.

Your birthday really does matter less once you hit a certain point. Ugh. At least I’m still freakishly in love with Christmas.

Well, now my dad has to get me texting. So I can tell everyone on twitter it’s my birthday to satisfy myself when everyone wishes me a happy birthday.
