Shoujo-Only Moe Tournament…START~

It has begun! The Shoujo-Only Moe Tournament created and hosted by Xiao Jie at ěk-sěn’trĭk is now open! The preliminary round has started.

48 moe shoujo girls go in and only 30 leave. For those of you that can’t do math, that means that 18 are being eliminated. More will move on than the number that will be eliminated, but don’t let that lull you into a false sense of security! No girl is safe unless she gets enough votes! Don’t get cocky!!!

The Tournament official started on April 1st (the birthday of a certain mahou shoujo that is the absolute princess of moe~) with the offical announcement of all of the participants after the nominations closed and the introduction to the three of us that are helping out with SoMT. Kanzeon, 7, and…me. *gets all shy and modest at being included in something so wonderful*

But the voting just began on Friday! So with the voting now starting, I want to make sure everyone is reminded to go and VOTE!!!

All of the shoujo anime from 2008 is represented (unless we managed to miss finding out about one) by at least one girl. So no matter what, if you watched shoujo in 2008, you’re likely to be familiar with at least one girl in this tournament. So start paying attention!

    And omg, now’s not that time to act shy, Idol-san! C’mon! We’re going to the pre-cocktail party to hang out with Utau and all our other awesome moe candidates! *drags you by the arm to the VIP lounge*
