Also, the title for the post is a mouthful. Sheesh. At least it’s worth it for more Corda! (But ah! Two episodes means that I don’t get enough time for my favorite bishies and it all gets given to the new guys! Unfair~)

Oh well. Still worth it. Now watch me throw all my dignity out the window and fangirl like the fangirl I am.

I’m not sure what to say to begin. Secondo Passo is only going to be two episodes and apparently the second episode isn’t coming out until June. But I can wait. I’m a patient little girl.

Muahaha~ Plus blogging special and OADs lets me put more anime under my “Finished” category faster (this is why I must also blog Tsubasa Shunraiki when I get the chance!)

Hmm…but that’s really all I have to say since I already went on a bit about Corda when I had my little marathoning week (lol, I still haven’t finished Shakugan no Shana II because I got bored to the breaking point on episode seven).

To put thing simply, I enjoyed this episode. So much so that even though I’m kind of on hiatus, I absolutely had to blog it (I’ll catch up on some of my project hours tomorrow by reading for a few extra hours).

Summary

Summer vacation ends. Mean new bishies pick on Kahoko. Except a nice new bishie who is in love with her since he saw her playing her violin one day.

Mean bishie teacher guy doesn’t let Kahoko play with the other competitors from the Concours (oh btw, which finally got a winner this episode: Len) and each competitor expresses their outrage and feelings in their own way throughout the episode. We don’t see them enough though.

And…that’s it? I wanna move onto the fangirling. Please~?

Thoughts

Yeah~ Fangirling time!

Everyone pay close attention because this is how all boys fall in love. Now go find violins and start practicing! (I politely refuse, since I am not a violinist! I only daydream about other violinistis. The rest of you go ahead though).

I really like the summer girls’ summer uniform (and the boys’ too~). It’s a shame they only stick around for part of the episode. Though I’d be disappointed if we didn’t get to see the cast back in their old uniforms.

Also…where is my opening with bishies in the wind? WHERE!? I just got credits over the actual episode. *pout*

But to make up for it we now have a brief interruption in coherent though to enjoy new animation for Len:

Of course, everyone else is back too, but I don’t care about them…as much.

lol. Listening to Kaho talking every so often I have a “lol. Shota voice” moment. I guess unlike in the first series, since this one is being recorded around the same time as Shugo Chara! I keep hearing Tadase in Reiko Takagi’s voice.

Fuyuumi-chan isn’t really cute as far as looks go to me (girls in reverse harem anime always have to have shorter hair so the guys look prettier), though she is pretty cute when she gets embarrased. But my goodness her voice is so cute. Akemi Sato isn’t in enough anime. She’s certainly moe enough seeing how popular Shiori from Kanon was with fanboys. It’s not fair.

Lili. Fairy. Nothing to say, but it felt like I had to say something somehow.

Oh wait, I have something…Lili’s pretty useless now that there’s no need for a magical violin. After the concours officially ended this episode he just kind of disappeared. Kaho got cheered up by Kaji instead of Lili too.

Teacher with red eyes looks like a mean old demon guy rather than any super cool bishie teacher to me. He’ll be our mean guy, at least until next week if they have the opportunity to make him see how wonderful Kaho’s amateurish music is.

Yeah~ Len talked~ *easily pleased*

New bishie that I am completely unfamiliar with is such an asshole~ No doubt he’ll warm up to Kaho too though. This is how it goes. Though right now I can’y help but be like, “What’s your point again dude?”

*sigh~* It’s kind of a shame that we don’t get much focus on our old favorites. This guy’s just connected to Kaji, the next bishie to be introduced whose hogging all the screen time this episode. But hey, I’ll take what I can get.

ZOMG~ And evil-doers teaming up (lolz~). I am curious about this though, see it in the next part I assume?

Break for some overall thoughts with a Len picture. Yeah~

I’m kind of liking Secondo Passo more than Primo Passo right now. Since it’s shorter they’re not dragging things out. That would have been my one complaint about Primo Passo. Things dragged.

Oh yeah and we never found out who won the concours. Luckily that was resolved in this episode. Len wins in a special performance between the three best on a weekend. That’s how it should be of course! My genius violinsts should win at all times! (Len won in the manga adaptation too)

I love how Kaho switches between emo inferiorty and feeling so honored~ to be on stage with the other competitors so often.

Of course, I want to say it now. Even if I pick on Kaho sometimes, I really can’t help but like her. Not sure what makes her more likable than other female leads with a male harem, she just is.

Oh, athletic, smart, and also very polite boy. Hmmm…we know how Fuyu-chan generally feels about bishies like this, don’t we?

Ha. Female audience gives us so many things we otherwise wouldn’t get to see in anime.

Oh noes~ Kaho can’t participate with her friends!

What this means: Oh good, our emo-ness about not being great at the violin is still around. It can get annoying, but it’s not Corda without it. Plus this time it’ll be easier to watch since it’ll be more compressed. (I suppose that’s a good reason for just two episodes)

I think the emo-ness is called for anyone since being told “You’re not needed.” is just damn cold. (Plus Kaho looks kind of cute when she’s distressed)

Where are my split screen images? I think they got replaced by lots of close-ups on eyes instead. I miss my random background with characters to express the drama and specialness of scenes though. So corny I loved it (give me at least one in the next episode!).

You know, I’m starting to figure out why I love Corda when I hate most other male harems. Even though Kaji’s the type of bishie that I hate (he’s such a bishie that it’s too much to handle), I find myself smiling and laughing even as I want to smack him. It’s weird. Kind of like he’s an annoying friend or something. Maybe it’s because I’m so familiar with the Miyano blond that he just doesn’t bother me.

But oh god he really is the type of bishie that gets on my nerves. He gets called “Ouji-sama” later on. orz

By the way, this is who calls him Ouji-sama. Ahaha~ He’s such an asshole, but I can’t help but like him since he’s all smirky. (These are when my strange, dangerous fangirl likes come out. Don’t like polite guys, smirking guys are ftw~)

Kaho’s great and all, but sometimes when she’s going on after someone says she shouldn’t be playing the violin I can’t help but go, “Blah, blah, blah. I want some angsting bishies instead.”

Oh wish granted.

So even though all these awesome people should sound awesome together they aren’t because they’re not coming together and such. Because Kaho’s not there (Duh).

…Yeah, I’m not even paying attention to what’s said here. All that matters is that bishies are fighting and I like it!

Oh and because there’s no screencap for the third favorite bishie yet, Kazuki’s such a nice guy. d’aww. He doesn’t think performing well is that important (without Kaho). D’awww.

It’s been a while since my “secret man moe” came up (lol, I think I only mentioned it on livejournal), but yeah~ megane needs to be taken off temporarily (and while we’re doing that let’s shove some glasses on the other guys who don’t need them).

So our episode ends with some Kaho emo-ing, worrying about possibly doing a concert in Osaki-senpai’s place and being afraid of being on stage. All understandable and such, but we’re not paying you to be emo girly! We’re paying you to get some violin romancing going on. (Wait, we’re not paying her at all? Darn it.)

Oh well. I enjoyed the episode anyway. Too bad it was mostly taken up by new characters though.

Right now all the new additions to the cast I don’t care about much. This is only to be expected since I didn’t go through 25 episodes with these guys, but now they’re stealing all my other bishies’ time (Len~ Even though you won the competition this episode, I haven’t gotten to see much of you~).

I suppose I’m feeling expecially pouty since not only do I not get a bishies in the wind opening, but no opening at all. Boo~ (This is also pretty expected though) No ending though, just a montage of scenes we already saw. Where’s all my bishie shots. *pout*

Preview

And our next episode will be in June…or something. I also heard July once. I guess they really want to make the fangirls frustrated. I do think I love the episode more because of the gap between new stuff coming out, so it’s pretty smart~

And in…June…Kaho seems to be happy again so it’s all good. Looking forward to Kaho declaring she likes the violin for the hundredth time (it sounds like I’m being sarcastic, but I’m 100% serious~)
